My IT professional path started as a "self-taught" when I came across Cloud and the career opportunities it can offer especially in combination with my business background and my soft skills. I knew I wanted to pursue a career in DevOps and I made it a reality a few years ago. DevOps is really an exciting field as it combines the challenges and knowledge that I want to pursue in my career.

My first role involved working on a data-sharing solution on Azure using Terraform and Synapse. That gave me insights into how enterprise projects work and the complexity to integrate and automate across various teams. I had mentors who helped me develop my skills regarding code quality, documentation and how to be an asset to a team.

I joined Astrafy because I saw strong expertise within the founders team and other colleagues and that gave me confidence that I will get the support I need to achieve a successful career in DevOps and DataOps as well as have a good working environment. But what really convinced me to join Astrafy is the mindset and philosophy that Astrafy embraces; working in  a health work environment with very human people is priceless. 

I want a career in DevOps because it is a field that evolves at a fast pace and I enjoy changes and to be constantly out of my comfort zone.

I always find some time to educate myself on DevOps and IT, and apart from that, I follow politics and documentaries on massive engineering structures that are under construction worldwide. When I am not working or studying, I like to enjoy quality time with my friends and family. I also love traveling and playing chess.
